I have rec'd several emails regarding this.....doesn't hurt to try.....

NO GAS...On May 15th 2007

Don't pump gas on MAY 15th

In April 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.

On May 15th 2007 , all internet users are to not go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon in most places.

There are 73,000,000+ American members currently on the internet network, and the average car takes about 30 to 50 dollars to fill up.

If all users did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take $2,292,000,000.00 (that's almost 3 BILLION) out of the oil companies pockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station on May 15th and lets try to put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least one day.

If you agree (which I cant see why you wouldn't) resend this to all your contact list. With it saying, ''Don't pump gas on May 15th"

It's good in theory, but it really don't do any good because you are not giving up gas.  You are just buying it on a different day.  No loss to them.

I was reading about what to do about the high gas prices. Someone said that an overall boycott would not work as they know that we will eventually have to buy gas. The best plan is to boycott one or two companies, such as Shell and Exon. They will have to drop their prices which will cause a gas war.

Now, all we have to do is get everyone else to agree to this.

My SIL sent me an email of this Sultons palace.  It was HUGE about 5 or 6 times larger than any Hollywood mansion (I'm guessing)  The last picture was of one of his fleet of cars one was silver, not just painted silver, but cast in sterling silver.  At the end of the email it said, amazing what 2.75 a gallon can buy?  I was just shocked.

I can remember gasoline prices at $.28 per gal. . . .LOL. Boy do I feel old. At this point I would take $1.00 per gal.

Boycott Exon

San Francisco Bay Area.....................highest in the country, some stations are already at $3.99 per gallon for regular, over $4.00 for higher grades. I live out side SF in Napa and I paid $3.59 for mid grade last fill up and it's gone up since then.

We were sent some pictures of an "Indoor" ski resort. Where was it located? In the middle of the Arabian dessert! My husband said he saw them talking about it on the Today Show too. That's what we're paying for. The thing was huge. You couldn't even see the palm trees around it.

Just boycott Exxon. They'll have to drop their prices and then others will follow.
