I don't think she was joking, I think she was just simply asking a question... yeah, in print it looks awful, believe me, I know, but the way she said it was like... "Oh really, you can't afford that? Ohh, ok..." it was like.. she could've been asking "Oh really, so you don't like potatoes? Ohh, ok..." Here's my post from another topic, to maybe shed a bit more light:

Tina was not surprised when Andy told her that the yacht and boat were not his. Her comments were dripping with sarcasm...it was obvious to everyone but you, I guess?
You have got to be kidding me. Haha. I watched it too, and the context in which Tina asked Andy about his $500k car and his yacht was her asking "Are you high-maintenance?", then mentioning his car and yacht to suggest he may be high-maintenance. She is asking him because she is an extremely low-maintenance woman, at least compared to the other girls, and she was afraid of him maybe being a bit too shallow or metrosexual for her, I believe. When he says "Oh, no, those aren't mine", she just says "Oh really, so you can't afford those? Ohh, ok" and just went with it. I honestly don't think she cared much one way or the other when he told her that, but I DO think it was quite obvious she was being sincere in asking him what she did.
To Didjaseeit, I am almost positive that the women had access to Andy's information before signing up for the show. There have been several instances of the women saying "When I saw you on the website...." to Andy, or "I knew when I saw you online that..." and different references like this. This leads me to believe that they knew at least a bit about Andy, even if it was just what he looked like, his occupation, and what he was looking for in a woman, and maybe much more than that. I think that's how ABC gets recruits, is to put the info for the bachelor or bachelorette online and have a place for women to sign up.
That being said, even if Tina did know what Andy did for a living (and I assume she did, because she strikes me as the type of person who would research Andy as much as she could before jumping into this; she would want to make sure that he was someone worth doing this over), I think that maybe it's not TOO hard to imagine her believing those things were his, because previous bachelors have been millionaires and you assumed that the cars and yachts from those seasons belonged to the bachelors (at least I did, it just seemed silly to me for them to give the bachelor such fancy things to impress these girls with, and then yank it away at the end of the season... but ah, that's television, I guess). Also, if any of you remember his first date with Stephanie South Caroina on the yacht, when he first brings her on to the yacht he says something like "Here's my yacht... and here's where I come out and have breakfast in the morning (on the deck)", and I believe he referred to the Ferrari as "my car" several times when out on quality time with Erin after the race track group date... so, all I'm saying is if Tina or any of the other girls thought that those things belonged to him, then he likely had something to do with that as well, whether he meant to or not, just by virtue of the way he referred to them.. Also, I don't think Tina was disappointed when he told her he wasn't rich.. I think she is one of the few women on the show that would've passed that test, and I believe she did.
